Tonight's episode, General Conference Post-Mortem for April General Conference of 2021.

Today's date is April 16th, 2021, General Conference is now in the can, and after it was

over, I reached out to my friend Jonathan Streeter at thinker of thoughts and stuff, and asked

him if he would commit with me to do five episodes, one episode on each of the sessions

of this general conference, with a goal in mind of actually getting to all the talks

given in general conference before the next general conference rolls around.

It is a bit of an overwhelming project, having to slog through these general conference

talks.

But I've done a few of these episodes before this with Jonathan Streeter, and we seem

to make a good team.

So on today's date, we met Bright and Early.

In preparation, I listened to all the talks in general conference and listened to them

multiple times, and then when the transcripts of the talks were put up at the LDS Church

website, I copied and pasted all of those talks into one document I highlighted the aspects

of those talks that I wanted to talk about, and then made several notes and did some

additional research, all of which will be reflected in this episode.

Jonathan Streeter was good enough to do the work of getting the video and the audio of

the general conference talk.
