battle between John Guy, BYU professor, Egyptologist, and the

Joseph Smith Papers project, which is also sponsored by the Mormon

Church or the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

This is really interesting that the question is, why would a BYU

professor bankrolled and funded by the Mormon Church as an

apologist? The Mormon Church's top Egyptologist, why would he

be attacking the Church's own Joseph Smith Papers project?

And specifically, I believe it's volume four, which is a recent

volume released by the Joseph Smith Papers project, that is

talking specifically about the Book of Abraham. That makes no

sense unless you've been following these stories closely. And so

in a joint production effort, I have brought on one of my favorite

experts on Joseph Smith and the Book of Abraham and all things
