Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Mormon

Stories podcast and a special edition in partnership with Radio Free Mormon.

Today we have a really exciting episode for you.

I'm Dr. John Delinn. it's January 15th, 2021 and we are beginning with something

that's super important to me and it's not the actual episode. So let me give a little history, a little bit of context.

Let's see, back in 2010, I started a nonprofit

where I basically wanted to do my part

to help Mormonism, the LDS Church Mormon culture do and be better and I wanted to most importantly help the truth get out there and help Mormons in faith crisis or family or friends who are affiliated with Mormons in

Faith Crisis find the support and help they needed. So I started

Mormon I started the Open Stories Foundation, started collecting donations and

I'm happy to say that it's 2021 and the Open Stories Foundation had its best year ever in 2020.

And as long as supporters keep doing what they're doing right now,

we're good for the foreseeable future.

However, what's super important to me is that we have a

thriving ecosystem of contributors, of creators, of podcasters, of YouTube channels, of

Tik-Toc channels, so that there are many good people

doing lots of good work and over the past few months I've

been trying to actually over the past several years but especially over the past

few months I've been trying to lift other creators and make sure that they get the financial support that they need.

So recently I had Zelf on the shelf, a wonderful YouTube channel on Samantha and Tanner.
