How is Christmas time in jolly old England now?

Pretty dim.

Boris just cancelled Christmas so we were promised five days of it and then at the last minute he pulled the plug very wisely I think we've actually had a big uptick in cases in our area and it's definitely

escalating so it was the right thing to do. But a shame nonetheless.
