broadcasting behind enemy lines tonight's episode lecture 10 in my 12-part lecture series on the subject of

defending the faith. This lecture series was given in the spring semester of

1989 at the Institute Building located at the University of Texas at Austin.

It was my final semester of law school and in addition to my full course load and in addition to my half-time work 20 hours a week clerking at a local law office I took it upon myself to also research prepare and deliver this 12-part lecture series.

As of this point in my life, I had been a member of the church for a decade,

and during that time I had done a great deal of research in anti-Morman literature,

anti-Morman arguments, and responses to the same.

In this 12-part lecture series, I drew upon that research, that knowledge, that study. in order to create this series of classes,

I have not myself listened to these taped lectures for the past 30 years, and as I do so,

I remember how immersed I was in the subject of Mormon apologetics.

In this lecture, lecture 10, we discussed the frequently encountered bugaboo between

born again Christians and Mormons on the subject of Grace versus works.

I show the class how to win this debate every time hands down using the New Testament

as evidence for the Mormon position.
