we'll be looking at Book of Abraham apologetics.

Why they don't work.

A lot has been written about the book of Abraham over the course of the last century

A lot of it written by LDS scholars a lot of it written by apists for the book of Abraham, attempting to prove it is ancient and authentic.

We are going to be looking at those arguments tonight, seeing where they make sense, where they don't make sense.

And basically, we're going to be trying to take a massive, massive subject, which has generated thousands of pages of scholarly literature with footnotes and boiling it

down into something that will be easily understood and adjustable by the lay person who is not an Egyptologist

RFM and and I'm really excited to jump into this this topic this is this is that issue in Mormonism that the critics say is the death nail and yet the

issue is so complex that it's difficult for the average member to wield their way into this topic.

And so today I hope we can, again like you put it out, let's put it in layman's terms,

let's explain things succinctly, let's help the listener understand where the church has maybe some strength in its

argument, where the critic has some value in its argument and dissect these issues one by one.
