they've got coming up between now and the end of the season home games against

sides in the bottom half the table sides were also likely to come to

Anfield and be pretty passive it is fair to say I'm expecting very very

very little from David Moyes West Ham at the weekend and even less from Raffa Benitez as new castle

the week after Liverpool will have to make all the running in both of those games but I want to

start off talking about the

audition period that we're now in and it's a reminder Adam Smith football there's

perpetual river it doesn't stop you can be simultaneously brilliantly placed

and it to almost certainly end up in the last the last

days of the Champions League with as much right to think you can win it as any

other side you can be simultaneously looking to end up finish your own league

season in second place at with an eye on next season and yet simultaneously an eye on next season's prevalence if you're

Nathaniel Klein, if you're Trent Alexander Arnold, if you're Joe Gomez, if you're Dejan Lovren, if you're

John Matip, and maybe even if you're Alberto and Moreno and might have started this season thinking you know what my place is pretty safe

and that's before we even get to the goalkeeper's there is an audition period on as to who will still be at the club next

season and who will be starting as a Liverpool defender and goalkeeper?
