uh in in a moment we're going to talk with Heather McDonald. Heather McDonald has

written a piece for the California Post. She is a fellow at the Manhattan Institute.

She writes frequently for City Journal, and she also wrote a book, When Race Trump's Merits.

We've had her on a number of times. And the big news in the

California Post has written several articles on this is there is a group, and I've talked about

this group before. They're the Democratic Socialists of America. DSA. And there are three DSA members on the council.

I think there's actually four.

But at least three of them have been going public.

And what they want to do is take control of the L.A. police department.

And you've heard these names before, if you listen to the show.

It's Nitha Rahman, who's running for mayor, and Eunice Hernandez, who has that disgusting sewer called MacArthur Park.

And then there's Hugo Soda Martinez.

And they're actually, you know, they're socialist border-in-on communists.

They're a block on the council.

There's another woman, Isabel Harado, as well.

And then you have Kenneth Mejia, who is a DSA member, and he's the controller.

And collectively, well, what they'd really like to do is defund the police.

And what they want to do practically, incrementally,

is slowly deny it funding and take over control of the police department from the police
