We're going to continue in this series we've been doing on Radicalis, and we're looking at deepening spiritual roots.

And today I want us to look at deepening the root of radical joy at the very first christmas the very first thing the angel said was behold i bring you

good news of great joy it didn't say great faith great love great peace great peace, great obedience, great joy. Joy is to characterize

our lives in following Jesus Christ. From the very first message at Christmas, joy to the

world, the Lord has come, I bring you good news of great joy. All through scripture, Jesus' ministry was characterized by joy.

Everywhere he went and healed people and spoke, it says the people were filled with joy.

When he sent the disciples out and the 72 out, it says they returned with joy.

When Jesus was resurrected on Easter morning, it says the disciples and the women who were following
