Okay. First, let's settle in together with the sound of the bells. I'm So I'd like to read you a passage from Tara Brock, a meditation teacher who wrote the book,

Radical Acceptance.

The way out of our cage begins with accepting absolutely everything about ourselves and our lives,

by embracing with wakefulness and care our moment-to-moment experience.

By accepting absolutely everything,

what I mean is that we are aware of what is happening within our body and mind in any given moment, without trying to control or judge or pull away, I do not mean we are putting up with harmful behavior, our own or another's.

A lot of meaning here. I really like how Tara talks about this radical acceptance and ended being an accepting of absolutely everything, but at the same time not conflating it with passive resignation,

or just saying that we no longer have boundaries because we're meditation people. And we don't

have needs anymore because we're equanimous and spiritual and all that nonsense that can easily creep in on the path.
