Welcome to I think you're overthinking at number 1155. So this episode is a couple of days late posting,

which is a funny thing to mention to me because I don't know when you're listening to this.

Could be months or years after the initial October 2025 posting. And normally they go up on

Tuesdays. This went up a couple days later. I just,

you know, I was, I was just spending so much quality, wonderful time with my daughter,

Dimity, and, you know, the podcast takes a little bit of preparation as I got to record the

intro and like level it out and, you know, it just takes a little bit of work to like get the

episode ready and every time I would say okay I'm just going to go do some work I'll be back

Dimity would just go dad don't go let's play let's craft she's this great little crafting

station and I was like you know what I'm going to do that I'm not going to leave because

I know that there will be times? I'm going to do that. I'm not going to leave because I know that there

will be times when I will have to go anyway and I want to minimize the number of times.

Like, you know, I was like if I have to catch a plane or if I do have to go to a meeting that I can't

cancel, though I have also skipped some meetings just to hang out with her and been

perfectly happy to do that.

But it's also for me just sort of like finding those moments where it's like, you know what,

the podcast will just be a couple of days late.

I hope that the wonderful audience who listens to the show will understand and appreciate

that and know that it won't be in all the time thing. But it just,

it's really important to me to spend as much time with Dimmity as possible, you know? Like,

it's, you don't get this time back. And I guess if I'm being totally honest, like when I was

younger, I probably would have always prioritized work.
