On a day where we have seen some beyond reality footage, it's important that we come together and talk. I mistakenly

last night said that this was going to be a classic episode. I don't know why I did that.

program for you tonight, especially in light of what we saw today in our nation's capital.

people have said it, but there is no place for political violence in our system. There is a lot

of room for peaceful protest, and that's what a majority of the folks in Washington, D.C. were there

to do. And then a small group of people took it to an extreme, which is unacceptable. I hope we get

this stuff out of the way, but I can't help but think that the discussion we're going to have

tonight, in some part, ties into the broader political climate that is causing this stuff.

And it's not just what happened today. It's been, it's what, it's what, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, have to condemn all destruction of property, whether it's private or public property.

That's what we need to be doing.

We can't accept it now.

We shouldn't have accepted it six months ago, and we can't accept it in the future.

But tonight we're going to be talking about racism in America.
