And the So, Oh, The UN General Assembly kicked off a marathon week of diplomacy with a summit for the future.

I called for this summit because our world is having off the rails.

Member states were tasked with reviving the United Nations. To do that an overwhelming

majority voted to adopt the Pact for the future on Sunday. The aim of it is to

address reforming the United Nations to make it more representative of the 21st century.

We have the power to make important charges for the future.

We stand at crossroads of global transformation. The Pact has lofty goals for eradicating poverty,

ending hunger, and building peaceful and inclusive societies.

of them today. A lot of it focuses on poverty and world health and the health and welfare of our children across the globe,
