I am glad, as always, to have you back for another episode of full time. We're moving into expansion draft mode here and to help me make sense of the rules and

what might be coming up for us in November in the NWSL. We don't have enough going on in

November, right? Steph Young of all for 11 is back. We're going to be here to help you on what

the expansion draft rules mean, gaming out all of Louisville's options between

banking allocation money and some U.S. national team players. And we definitely went full

galaxy brain with one possible scenario, just to tease you. If you can hear some noise in the

background, that is my wife teaching over Zoom for her college

class. All right. So it is, it is pretty much expansion draft central here at the moment, but still

some news to report. Canada women's national team have found their new head coach in Bev Priestman,

who is no stranger to the program. Obviously, she spent five years in Canada leading the youth national team program and as an assistant coach under John Hurdman as well.

So she returned to England to serve as an assistant coach under Phil Neville and now at age 34,

takes the reins for Canada less than a year out from Tokyo 2021, assuming that of course

still happens in theory. But she does have some time to figure out her approach to the

2020 World Cup, obviously. So a lot of talk in her introductory press conference via Zoom about

changing the color of the medal, right, and bravery as this concept. But ultimately,

I think the success of this program really does still boil down to the level of investment

and commitment that Canada soccer shows to their program. All right, on the expansion draft front,

Steph and I are going to get into the rules a bit later on in the show, but I did want to

cover some ground before our chat so that way you would have at least as much of the relevant information that I can cover in a short amount of time, since this is not necessarily the most intuitive process.
