Christian and I were lucky to grow up near a cul de sac.

A dead end, which I guess is a better word than a dead end. Yeah, that's pretty grim.

But it was a great street. It was a safe place to play and we would just play there every day.

We'd play basketball and we'd play baseball and the fence for the home run fence was

on the other side was a big fancy mansion where two older gentlemen lived and

part of the fun of playing baseball was the challenge of then having to go collect the balls that

went over the fence. But I digress. Occasionally there would be a

disagreement in the neighborhood and we would have to settle it by planning a rumble,

like a skirmish, like a war. I remember such fear of the impending fight that we would be having.

We would collect sticks and rocks and then it never came to fruition.

It never came to fisticuffs. No. And so it never really materialized. It was just kids

working out their aggression by planning on fighting but never actually fighting.

It's tough and to stop though. So I suppose it's safe to say it's not even a story.

It's a story. It's not a good one. But it's a story.
