Hi, David. What's going on? Or should I just say Pangolin is in the house?

I think Rachel Platten is great. I think that's good, right? I mean, listen, you've toured the world with hits and I mean, like, what made you want to be part of the mass singer this season?

You know, I have two little girls.

A lot of people say this.

And I just, they saw a lot of mommy promoting a very heavy emotional record that I wrote about becoming a mother and mental health

and some of my struggles and overcoming. And they've seen a lot of me being more serious on stage

and empowering. And I really wanted to show them just like a silly side and do something that

was so out of left field. I also wanted the freedom to make these artistic choices that are not Rachel Platten, like to just have a blast and try things. I'd never try and be completely dramatic. Like our sweet little penguin, what a drama queen. My gosh. Right. Did your children know that you were a part of this? Like, you know, I mean, I know you could tell. No, I could not could tell no i could not tell them i could not tell them

they would tell everybody they're like me we just gab and they um they would have told everybody but i

did tell them mommy was on the puppet show because they wanted to understand like where are you

going what are you doing um so yeah they've been asking about the puppet show they're like so you're

a squirrel on the puppet show because they saw a picture.

That's so funny. Well, listen, yes, a lot of your songs have dealt with, you know, serious issues.

And I think that's why they resonate with so many people. You know, you talked in your package on Ozzy night, you know, about when you were living in your van and you almost gave up on this

industry. You know, when you were going through that,

like did you have a plan, like when you were thinking of giving up, like, were you going to go

do something completely different with your life? You know, I really had no backup plan. I really
