Welcome to our show. Today we have the incredible Rachel Yamagata. She's a singer,

songwriter, guitarist, and a pianist with a critically

acclaimed catalog of very honest and personal songs. Yeah, she's a great singer. I've been a fan of her

since that first album came out. I was a big fan of that album. That was back in 2003 or four.

And yeah, I was excited to have her here. Yeah, her voice is very unique. It really resonates with so many listeners, I feel like.

We actually first met, I already was a fan of her music, but we met on the set of 30 Rock for this big episode they did about the just give a kidney the kidney donation episode.

It's full of crazy musicians and that's where we first met.

It's really funny.

I just rewatched it and I was cracking up.

It was fun to talk about that.
