biologically speaking still the same we've got teams of two surviving out there in the wilderness but we are going

southern hemisphere this time from the surprising heat of Alaska to the surprising cold

of New Zealand I am Mike Bloom. I would imagine people commonly call me the

New Zealand version of Rob Cesser and you know so it only makes sense as to why I am

here but of course it would not be a hit or quit podcast without my climax partner for this particular episode.

The Canadian Ruffneck herself Jenny Otto. Oh my gosh. I was just going to say like you being the, you are the down under Rob Sester Nino, like wink wink wink going full bloom down under does New Zealand count as down under it still I know when you say down under you say it's like Australia

But it's like I mean I don't know if it's like a down under concept yeah that's just like more I don't know like if I say I'm going to South Africa would that be going down under?

Is going down under literally just going south from where you are at any given point?

Yeah, like if I plug into a GPS and the GPS is Australia and will it say turn right and go down under to the park?

Yeah, that's what it should say and I want it to be in like a New Zealand accent at this point.

I'm sad we've been robbed of those melodious voices.

The only got it briefly in like the survivor-esque, like let's put some, you know, locals

in the makeup in some boats to welcome everybody to New Zealand and then just set all these Americans and some

Canadians out into the wilderness for another edition Jenny of the USA series.

Were you surprised to see race to survive return for the second year in a row?

I was and I wasn't Mike because I you, you and I, clearly, of course, everyone remembers when you and I covered

race to survive Alaska, last, around this time last year.

And, you know, gave it a little chance.

I was like, okay, you know, this maybe is definitely more of an adventure show. It's less

competition strategic you know kind of show that some of us are more inclined towards and you know I thought I had
