Good evening, everyone.

It's our great pleasure tonight to have with us, Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks.

Rabbi Sacks is serving as the Kursle and Afrath Family University professor of Jewish Thought and Yashiva University.

And we've had the pleasure of hearing him in already in many different venues here on campus

and to many different audiences. One thing has been common throughout is the audience's

embrace of Rabbi Sachs, his messages, his words, and it really has been a thrilling

for us relationship over the last couple of months. And Rabbi Sachs is here this week, especially

preceding the Chag Asmicha. We'll be having a record,

a historic event this coming Sunday,

which if you don't have tickets to,

I can't get your tickets to, but, but,

but they will be viewing in satellite locations on campus

as well as on the web at www. yu.u.

We'll have 230 Musachim, the largest ever, by far class in a four-year period of rabbis coming out of YU.

And it's our great pleasure to involve Rabbi Sachs and to have him here as part of those festivities.

Tonight, the audience contains many rabbinic alumni,

many of the rabbis who are waiting to hear what Rabbi Sachs

will share with us on rabbinic leadership.

It is a time that we're celebrating the rabbis,

celebrating the leadership in our community.
