Morning. There are days when I wish I worked on a music station. I mean, not, I don't wish it for very long, obviously, when you've got verbal diarrhea to the degree that I have, then it would be, I suspect, a very brief period of satisfaction. Today is not one of those days. But if I did work on a music station, I know exactly what song I'd be playing at this point in proceedings.

It's very easy to gloss over those moments on our national decline because obviously so

much of the media was encouraging you to look the other way or pretending that it was in any way

acceptable conduct. Such was the cult of Boris Johnson and do make sure you've got your teeth in before deploying that phrase in the wild today.

These were moments of national catastrophe.

Whatever your politics are, I appreciate, and I don't think I'm going to bend over backwards to be polite today.
