Hello, my friends. It is time once again for the morning mindset. It's time for you and

for me to get our minds aligned with the truth of God. You know, I was just spending some

time pondering this path that we've taken together with the morning mindset. And did you

know it's been almost four years that the morning mindset has been under publication.

It's just amazing that the Lord has enabled such consistency and has enabled such growth.

We have over 50,000 downloads per day. Now, that's of the entire morning mindset catalog

for those almost four years. But that is just an overwhelming and encouraging thing to

me. I would ask you to be a part of spreading the word just as I know many of you are just

by telling others about the morning mindset and giving them the opportunity to get their

minds aligned with the truth of God today and tomorrow and the next day because we need it

every day. Don't we? Well, today we are stepping into Proverbs chapter 12 verse number one is

where we're going to begin. And I want you to stop for a moment and think about the impact that

pride has in your life. I'm not talking about pride in a job well done or pride in your children,

that kind of pride that we see as more of a healthy kind of a pride. What I'm talking about

is the kind of pride that causes us to resist other people's help or to think that we can handle

things on our own, that kind of pride. Now, once you've got that in mind, let's listen to the words

of Proverbs 12 verse number one. It says, whoever loves discipline loves knowledge. But he who

hates reproof is stupid. Now, none of us want to be called stupid. And if someone kind of went

toe to toe with us and said, man, you're stupid, we would kind of get a little upset about that.

And we would probably get defensive. But let's stop for a moment and let's realize this is the

Holy Spirit of God speaking to us through his word. And if he is calling a stupid for some reason,

let's allow ourselves to receive that imponder. What does he mean? Because he's being truthful here.
