It's all about the realities that are seen and unseen that should guide our lives as Christians,

as those who follow Jesus Christ.

I'm glad you're here.

Today, we are going to kind of turn a corner.

The previous two days we talked about the world's problem, which is sin and separation from God.

Yesterday, we talked about the answer, the solution to that problem is Jesus.

And today, we're going to begin talking about the results.

Of that problem being solved.

And number one on my list, as I look at all the things Jesus has done for us,

is what the scriptures call and what theologians call imputed righteousness.

Now, what does that mean?

Well, the word imputed means considered to be yours, even though it isn't yours.

So in this case, when we're talking about righteousness,

it means the righteousness of Jesus being credited to our account in God's ledger book.

So to speak, when we didn't deserve it, we receive the righteousness of Jesus
