| 0:58.6 | going to be looking at the reality of a problem we had being solved because we are believers in Jesus |
| 1:06.3 | Christ and that problem is we were at odds with God both because of our sinful behavior and because |
| 1:13.3 | of our sinful nature. But as we talked about in the last episode through Jesus Christ we've been |
| 1:18.8 | forgiven and consequently because we've been forgiven justified as Paul calls it at some points |
| 1:26.4 | we now have peace with God. Let's look at Romans chapter 5 first number 1. Paul says therefore |
| 1:34.1 | having been justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. |
| 1:42.3 | Now stop for a moment and think about a circumstance where you are at odds with someone. |
| 1:47.3 | You may be in a circumstance like that right now. I know there are husbands and wives who have |
| 1:52.4 | tension a lot of times there are people who are going through divorce who there's a rival |
| 1:57.0 | risk kind of a relationship going on. I know that sometimes that happens in the workplace it happens |
| 2:01.7 | with competitors with your business it happens in the military we have opponents that we are opposing |
| 2:09.2 | and friends that place of being at odds with someone is not a pleasant place to be whether you are |
