A new documentary series could lead to more legal trouble for Singer R Kelly.

It contains new allegations of sexual, mental, and physical abuse.

The Chicago prosecutor is asking alleged abuse victims of singer R Kelly to come forward in the wake of the lifetime

documentaries it's called surviving.

In the past few weeks we've been hearing a lot about R Kelly after a new documentary came out about him in the United States

detailing lots of allegations of sexual and physical abuse against women and

underage girls spanning several decades all of which are

Kelly's denied. Well ten days ago he was dropped by his record label and Spotify introduced a mute our Kelly button

after a high-profile campaign. Before we go on we should say this whole episode is full of

swearing and features descriptions and details that you may find disturbing.

Lucy, why are you interested in this?

Well for me this is one of the first cases that sort of caused me to examine my

complicity in a me too case. Ar Kelly songs are kind of like the soundtrack to my

teenage years and I've known for a really long time that R Kelly was

accused of marrying the singer Alia when she was 15 because it was widely reported

then but it didn't stop me dancing around to be mixed
