Hello, friends. Welcome back. It is time for morning mindset. I hope you are ready to

get your mind in your heart, aligned with the truth of God as we read it today in the

scripture. Today we're going to be talking about one of the most mind-blowing things.

I mean, I can't even get my mind around it. It's the reality that through Jesus we, as

believers in Christ have been given a heavenly inheritance. And we're going to dive into that

in 1 Peter chapter 2 in just a moment. But I want to make a request first off to all

you Christian husbands out there to provide me some feedback. For a while now, I've been

pondering, considering, praying about offering a men's event, a two to three day event, where

it's kind of like a retreat. And we get together, learn from the scriptures, what it means to

be a Christian husband, Christian leader in our home, and build relationships and encourage

to think about this. Have you ever received an inheritance from someone? I remember when

I was in college, my mother received an inheritance from her brother who passed away. And it wasn't

a large sum of money, but my mom gave some of that money to me to help with college expenses.

It was a very generous thing for her to do. Then later on in life, I had a cousin who passed

away. And she was no only child. Her parents were already passed on. She left a fairly

sizable inheritance to my siblings and I. So it got divided five ways among us. You see an

inheritance is something that an individual earns. They build. They set aside. And then when they

pass away, they give that to other people. So the people who receive it, don't earn it at all.
