This is our opportunity to get together and get our minds aligned around the truth of

God's Word today.

I'm Keri Greene.

Welcome to the morning mindset.

We have begun a new series called Realities.

It's about the fundamental core beliefs of Christianity that we as believers in Christ

need to align our hearts and our minds with.

We've been looking at Exodus chapter 34, verses 5 through 7, today we're going to continue

looking by looking more in depth at verse 7.

Here God is speaking about Himself and He says two things that seem a little contrary

to each other, a contrarian or opposite or however you want to think of that.

He says that He is both forgiving and just.

Let's read it.

Exodus 34 7.

The Lord speaking about Himself says He keeps steadfast love for thousands, forgiving

iniquity and transgression and sin.

But who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children,

and the children's children to the third and the fourth generation?

Now that first part of the verse where it says He keeps steadfast love for thousands

and that He forgives iniquity and transgression and sin, that all sounds wonderful to us,

doesn't it?
