I didn't agree with him.

I have to start a bit further back than I would like, but context is important so as

to understand the size of metaphorical bullets I've managed to dodge.

While this tale does contain some small references to military activities, I've avoided

all official lingo, as it's just easier for most to understand in layman's terms.

I know the proper terminology, but it's not really relevant.

The star of our show, the entitled parent incarnate, is former military, so maybe it's also

a bit petty, since it will irritate him if he ever reads this.

Now, the Will of the Fates has always worked out for me in the end of harrowing situations
