0:06.8

Steps into a very hot a boiling hot lagoon in Iceland despite a sign telling you not to. I really don't know why, but hey, let's go.

The metric system doesn't care about your entitlement.

So, this was a few years ago when me and my wife, both Mancunion that means they're from Manchester

0:24.1

and England were doing a mini world tour as part of our honeymoon we were in

0:28.0

Iceland and had been really disappointed to find out that the blue lagoon is

0:32.1

man-made and is's basically just a large

0:34.4

outdoor swimming pool of water runoff from the geothermal plants. So after some

changing room and shower area and charge about 12 pounds to get in. Between the pond and the

1:09.6

river there is a roped off area of small deep pools that has a sign saying

1:14.3

warning water is over 90 degrees do not enter at your own risk which is probably a

1:20.3

bad translation of no entry, we accept no liability.

1:24.0

Anyway, me and my wife were leaning against the side of the pond

1:27.3

closest to this, and we notice a guy wander up, read the sign,

1:31.1

then step over the rope. As he's walking up to one of these small

1:34.7

pools the lifeguard is running over and shouting stop stop you can't go in there

1:39.7

then the American accent replies whatever, I can do whatever I want.

1:45.6

By this time the lifeguard has reached him and tries to explain to him that the water is

1:50.4

Between 90 and 110 degrees and and he walked right past a do not enter sign.
