Someone that does vital work in Hamd al-Arab, in the community. He's an Imam. He runs

probably one of the most important organizations in North America, Hamd al-Aslah, which

everyone should support Hamd al-Arab. They're doing work that is truly filling a void in Hamd al-Arab,

and he just finished his PhD in Hamd al-Arab, just a few months ago. We were talking about that,

Hamd al-Arab, and his next goal is to embark on getting Sheikh Abdullah's biceps. We were

talking about that before the show started. We were debating before we started what takes

longer to get Sheikh Abdullah's biceps or to get a PhD, so. I'm not enough. Dr. Jihad,

tell us about Islam al-Arab really quick, like what the work that you're doing with Islam,

inshaAllah. Well, Islam al-Arab, we're on the shoulders of giants who came before us,

so I want to definitely my father, Imam Siddiq, Safir, and others, the pioneer in communities

that came before. So we are a product of Temple 27, and also Masha' al-Ibad al-Arab, which was

open in 1986. So today at Hamd al-Arab, we have a full-time, full pantry. We have Islam Academy,

which is a private school. We're teaching Quran and Arabic language, and also some of the

core sciences on Khrinsha and Slauson. This is in South Los Angeles. We also have four homes,

four transitional houses, two four, formerly incarcerated, and also homeless women and

formerly incarcerated and homeless men. So we're doing the work. You know, we're on the front

lines in South Los Angeles, and it's a pleasure being here before you all. You know, I think,

you know, we get an a lot of inspiration from the work of you, Imam, and then also Abiyyaki.
