All right, here we go. I'm sitting here talking to David Clark. God dang. David was all there. One of the favorite books I've read a long time.

You guys heard him on the podcast when he came by 317 gimmick street. The book is called out there. A story of ultra recovery. The story about how David took over his life.

David, I love that book and welcome back to the show. It's good to talk to you again. How are you?

I'm doing great man. It's a pleasure to be back. What are you doing right now man when you left here? I know you're heading back to Colorado. Are you out there giving speeches or you got another book in the works? What are you up to?

Yeah, I have a couple things going on. Actually, I am I am just about done writing a second book. There's I did a lot of different things after the kind of ending point of my book out there.

So, you know, the the second book is about kind of that journey and finding happiness and dealing with the successes and the failures that came with with a new life.

And then I just launched a podcast my own as well. How do we are Superman podcast and you know working on a documentary man just trying to spread the message you hope. Just trying to spread the message that there's no such thing as too far gone.

Man, that's interesting to say too far gone. Hey, when you talk about your podcast, what kind of subject matter you covered?

So, you know, the reason why like my my social media name and everything is then we are Superman is because I really believe in the bottom of my heart that, you know, we kind of all have a super power version of ourselves, you know, inside and for years, I was, you know, three hundred twenty pounds.

I was just beaten down by drug addiction and alcohol addiction and food addiction and you know all of that time I felt so weak and so kind of imprisoned.

But yet there was this other version of me, the version of me that I experienced today that was always in there.

And the podcast is about, you know, kind of unlocking that side that we all have, you know, I invite guests on to have all, you know, done and experienced some of the things that, you know, the great accomplishment that that life has and kind of sharing that.

I absolutely loved the book. I had a lot of response when I put it out there on my Twitter account and in our conversation here on the podcast and a lot of people responded very positive about reading the book and just loved it like I did.
