But events on the ground in Israel have a schedule changed with that. So we'll hook up with Joel at some point during the week.

There's a lot of activity in Washington DC with the nomination successful nomination of of Jim Jordan to be the next speaker of the house.

And this is a good moment for me to check in and say good morning to Derek. How are you Derek? I'm doing well. James, how are you?

I am what a week. I'm exhausted. Totally frank with you exhausted because it's just so much trying to keep up with everything. It's it's a lot.

And where do you start with this? Do we start with Israel? Let's start with some of the domestic stuff first because this discussion on what's going on.

We had breaking news at the top of the hour with James flipping that the countdown has begun with the ground force invasion in Gaza. So we can talk about that.

But what's your take on what's happening in the house of representatives, Jim Jordan, what are his chances, et cetera?

It's like watching your team blow a lead late in the game. It really is.

It's so stupid. So self-inflicted when you know a week ago, a week and one day ago, it didn't really matter all that much. Yeah, they were be clowning themselves, but okay.
