Good morning everyone and welcome back to another morning with the masters to devote ourselves

to the Lord daily with you.

It's just me this morning's sweet toy fell asleep while we were watching a TV show and

honestly at 11 p.m. I did not have the heart to wake up and say hey, why don't we go

to record a devotional right now, but I'm super excited about this one.

We're in our live on purpose devotional and it's titled not too crazy to pray for.

The scripture is Mark chapter 9 verse 24 and it says this, help me overcome my unbelief.

The devotional says someone once told me something that changed my life and the way I pray.

They said you just need to ask God to give you the faith to believe.

I heard those words at a time when I was towing the line between saying yes to what God has

called me to and staying comfortable.

Those simple words struck me.

They convicted me and they made me think ask God for faith.

Before I heard that encouragement, I had felt that the one thing I could do for God was

to have faith.

I knew he could give me peace and he could give me joy and other things and in fact he's

given me everything.

He has sent his son for me.

Couldn't I at least give him my faith?

I thought my job so to speak as a Christian was to have a lot of faith and a lot of hope

and to believe and never doubt.

But then I realized that in the New Testament, even the Apostle said to Jesus, show us how
