Hey, welcome. My name is Ryan, and I make music under the name Sleeping At Last, and this is the Sleeping

0:06.4

at Last podcast. Today's episode is all about a brand new song of mine called Quiet Magic Storgae.

0:26.0

Quiet Magic belongs to my Atlas 3 project and so I'm so excited to share it with you and to talk all about it as well as how it fits into the

0:34.2

overarching themes of Atlas. But before we dive into that I wanted to share another new

0:38.8

piece of music that I recently put out into the world. It is called September 29th, 2024 PT5 mini moon.

0:47.2

And I'm sure you can tell from the title that it belongs to my astronomy series of songs.

discovery, I try to write as often as I can a piece of music for it and it's usually

1:10.3

1:14.5

this song is inspired by Earth's new mini moon that we just received so a 33 foot

1:21.4

asteroid just entered Earth's orbit on September 29th.

1:26.1

And we have this new what is considered a mini moon for the next couple months.

1:31.4

The main reason I wanted to try to write a piece of music for this this

1:34.3

little mini event in space is because of how adorable it is. As soon as you say the word mini moon,

1:41.8

I am in, I'm sold.

1:44.0

So even though you need a pretty massive telescope in order to even

1:48.2

catch a glimpse of our new mini moon,

1:51.0

I wanted to write a little anthem for this the space rock that we get to spend a tiny bit of time with

1:57.1

As I mentioned the asteroid is 33 feet in length and so because of that the song is exactly three minutes and 33 seconds.
