And I know that sounds super cliche, but I cried three times reading this.

And I'm David Vance. The biggest thing I learned researching this book was that my girlfriend thinks of me as loud.

In quiet, Susan Kane talks about the value that comes from introverts.

Number one, you don't have to get out of your shell. There's this great comic that I saw in

Washington, D.C. one time where she had where she was obviously introverted, but she had this amazing bit about how discouraging it was in college, like during college parties to be told, get out of your shell, come on, loosen up.

She was like, I wanted to be like, hey, bro, why don't you get back in your shell?

So extroverts are energized by a social gathering and an introvert is exhausted by it.

And it doesn't mean that an introvert is afraid of a social gathering. It just means
