Let's get to the news. George H. W. Bush, the 41st president of the United States, died over the weekend. He was 94 years old.

Before he was president, Bush served as vice president, director of the CIA, ambassador to the United Nations, chairman of the Republican National Committee, envoy to China and a congressman from Texas.

He was the last combat veteran to serve in the White House. His body will lie in state in the US Capitol, returned to this week and a state funeral is scheduled for Wednesday morning.
