Happy Easter, Christ is risen, and Christ is truly risen. It's Father Dave Nick on the Padre Paraguino podcast here, and just picking up some Indian food after a hike, so forgive the lack of the religious habit here.

I realize there's a little bit of confusion out there on the three types of Christians. Now, if you looked at the thumbnail on YouTube and it says three types of Christians, you probably think I'm categorizing according to judgment three types of Christians, but I'm not.

I'm actually just going to describe the three types of Christians, that is, Catholics,

Orthodox, and Protestants.

That's going to be the big umbrella, Christianity, under the title of Christianity is Catholic and Protestant and Orthodox.

And then there's a little umbrella which we will call non-Christian sects,

C-C-T-S. We'll just say N-C-S, since that's a weird word to say on YouTube.

And what are a couple of those non-Christian sects at NCS? Under this umbrella, we're going to put

Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses. Why don't I consider them Christian? They're not Christian

because they don't have a Trinitarian confession. What is the Trinity? We as Christians believe that

God the Father is God, and God the Son is God, and God the Holy Spirit is God.

Three persons, one God.

Where Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons do not believe in the Trinity.

Mormons believe in numerous gods that apparently Jesus was like the firstborn of many gods.

You get your own planet and stuff. Jehovah, Jehovah Witnesses will probably call Jesus the Son of God, but not God himself.

Where if you look at Russian Orthodox and Greek Orthodox, Roman Catholics, Byzantine Catholics,

and even Baptists, most Pentecostals, and non-Domers, we're going to get to all these categorizations in a minute. They all confess

the Trinity, that God the Father is God, God the Son is God, and God the Holy Spirit is God. Okay, so let's

look under this umbrella of Christianity. The only two that would really claim to be apostolic

would be Catholic and Orthodox.

The Catholic churches, all the Western Catholic Church as well as all the Eastern Catholic churches,

and I think it's CPX 33 I talk about the Eastern Catholic churches.
