The talent's in the building. So, Polly and I were chin wagging with my amazing makeup artist last week.

She was slapping the old slap onon, papering over the cracks.

It was like one of those join the dots, wasn't it?

It was like, oh, there's the nose.

Paint by numbers.

Drawn it in.

Anyway, in those quite intimate women's circles,

we just started slagging off all the men in our lives, to be honest.

I love, look, I love men. I'm going to put my hand up very clearly and say this is not a

man-batching exercise, but God, they get on my norks. And we were talking about how frustrating

it is when we are this whirlwind of, I'm going to say it, capability, like the lists in my head, the productivity,

the having to get lunchboxes boxed and kids in receptacles and, you know, forms filled in,

and like holding what it feels like this quite domestic umbrella over our home.

And then, you know, your partner does one thing.

And he's like, well, I loaded the dishwasher.

And I'm saying that's a bit unfair because my husband's great.

He does a hell of a lot.

But Mary, what she said just killed me.
