me, Polly Hazelwood. In the house, today we're getting stuck into irretrievable breakdown

and divorce with the inimitable Cherry Healy. God, that was such an intense time. I think anyone

who gets divorced does not do it lightly.

Right.

My God.

I knew for many years that it wasn't the right relationship.

But obviously with everyone, you try and you try and you try and knew that it would be just the most horrendous, horrendous thing.

But nothing I did seem to work and nothing I did seem to shift anything and then the last two

years it was obsessive I need to leave I can't leave you mustn't leave I must leave I must leave I can't do this

you must do this you can't I mean when I remember being in a yoga class once you know it's really

quiet and calm and I remember my thinking can people hear hear my brain? Because it was screaming.

It was, and it got louder and louder and louder to the point where I thought I'm going

mad.

What was the point where you did decide to divorce?

Was there a moment?

I remember asking my friend's permission.

Really?

Yes.

Because I said to them, I need permission to get a divorce because it's going to be so awful.
