and I'm joined by my best mate Polly Hazard in the DMP House. Hello, hello, hello.

So, big topic to crack open this week, inclusion in parenthood. I say specifically

parenthood, not just motherhood. And this comes off the back of mine and Polly's

relationship as women, but also as mothers. And I'm going to paint a little picture before we

dig deep on this topic. So I brought my two daughters, age four and eight at the time, to meet

Polly's twins with a rare genetic condition.

And I preempted that meeting with, be very careful around them, okay?

Don't, you know, be too rough.

Don't play with them as you would normally.

Just be very careful.

I look back at that conversation between my daughter

and I and significant red flags. But what she said to me, as we got out of the car, I'll never forget,

and I have mentioned it on this podcast before, she went, Mum, stop it, they're just kids.

And I remember just thinking, God, you are right.

And it was really that first moment of recognising I am not in any way inclusive.

I hadn't even got into the headspace of a parent, let alone a child, in a different parenting world.

And so we put out on Instagram this week to get a bit of a understanding of the situation.

And we're obviously going to be digging into this a lot deeper.

And Polly's going to be speaking a lot more than I am because this is not my space.
