Today we're going to be looking at some easy steps you can take to get ready for the biggest financial transition of them all.

Okay, we're not talking about end of life, we're not talking about that transition, but the great transition into retirement.

You can call it that, financial independence, financial freedom, whatever you want to call it, it basically means the same thing.

That's right, there comes a point in which most of us want to stop working because we have to and move on to a different phase of life, just like I've done.

Yeah, all right.

No need to rub it in.

Seriously, hopefully we can learn from Roger's recent experience as well as all the clients between us that we've helped to make this transition over our combined 40 odd years.

As financial advisors, at least then, you are, you are very old, so.

Actually, I should say that you might have been working longer than me, but we joined the financial services profession, you know, financial advice profession on the same day.

So I take that back and very, very sorry.

So anyway, usual drill folks after the main body of the show will read a review that's been left, answer one of your questions.

We've got an absolute polar of a question this week, actually, which got us very animated when we were talking about before.

And of course, we'll announce the next session topic.

Okay, it's fair to say that retiring is a big deal for lots of reasons, but not least, there could be a lot to do and sort out.

We want to look at the practical elements of preparing for retirement and also the less tangible stuff.

Like working out what you're actually going to do with your time.

I was like, good for you so far.

So assuming that is, of course, some so-called friend like me doesn't drag you into co-hosting a podcast when you were looking forward to, you know, nice mail of time.

But we're going to get into that.
