there to learn, and sometimes we wonder which ones should we be learning to be able to play

with other musicians or play at jam sessions or even play at gigs. And so it can be really

helpful to understand what the categories are that we need to be focusing on, the subgenres

of jazz, that will come up time and time again

as far as tunes being called in public setting. So today on the podcast, we're going to talk about
