All right, so I just want to, I just want to give you guys a tip.

We're in class today I had a thought and I gave some advice to the folks here in Springfield,

Illinois. Great, great group of people getting a lot of value of training today excited to be here and

I mean I can do a video on this later on I know I've talked about this a while ago but it's in a

a while before I've told people this good advice and the advice is this. There's a lot of great things that I can

give you a lot of tips and tricks of the trade that I can give you to go out and

do this job better. What I can tell you is when you ask you if there's anything illegal in the car, usually

they'll telegraph subconsciously where this stuff is hidden.

See what I'm saying?

So you'll say, hey, anything illegal in the car and they'll look at the trunk or they'll look at the

quarter panel or the look at the inside of the car.

You got to pay attention to that.

But two, if you are now at the point where you have a consent search or a probable cause

search, here's some advice. If you have more than one police officer on scene and one person is going to stand with that suspect or defendant, whatever he may be, or she may be, engage them in some regular conversation, right, about the weather, Yankees,

Mets, Phillies, whatever it may be, and then continue that conversation, continue a casual conversation

as your partner or partners search the car.

What you'll find is when they get to a point where the contraband is hidden or concealed,

that person will start to do things like this.
