So now we're in a stem for period where the leadership is looking at okay additional

funding and the pressures on the economy are continuing to grow.

It's also pushed by the president who's saying everybody needs to go back so what is what

are we doing Texas what are we doing in Florida we open up the most essential businesses we

can, let's massage parlors, tattoo parlors etc.

So that way we all know we can get a massage and a tattoo and feel really great while the

person next to us gives us coronavirus.

But how do you see the economics of this playing out there some of us who are now working

to try to get behind an effort to make sure the investments get into the community the

right way not just at the small business level but at the banking level for you know

black owned banks as well as for black investors who helped capitalize a lot of our firms.

How do you see the economics playing itself out over the next few weeks in this topsy

turbo turbo battle of opening up the economy whatever the hell that may mean versus the

inclination I think a lot of people have is you know what I just rather make sure I will

survive opening up the economy before I actually get into opening the economy.

So I wrote a piece about this in the nation this week and I just want to preface this by

saying like the things that I have chosen to care about in this ridiculous world where

there are lots of things worth caring about.
