Yours been out a few weeks before, a few months before. So you got the bookends from not just Republicans perspective on January 6th, but from really the perspective. on you were trying to move the needle on this on this committee to keep it from falling into the very partisan

defy that it you know these things have a tendency to fall into as well as fighting your own troops

while you're serving on this committee.

How how did you get a lot of I'm glad you're there Adam?

Yeah.

I wish I could be there with you bro,

but you know I'm glad you there and you know keep the fight.

Oh, you guys are exposes so much as you know I don't know what's come at this party what are we going to do help us Adam get out of trouble that we put ourselves into and then when of course when you start to do that they're like no I'm not showing up for a subpoena.

Yeah, I mean look listen like it's so amazing so I never would betray personal conversations. By the way, Liz saves all our texts obviously so be careful what you say to Liz. I still with the reaction. But I had conversations with so many people that would come up to me on the floor of the house and be like, you know, it was interesting what you said or what you guys found. Or I'd have a few people that would thank me for

doing it and then say you know I can't because my district blah blah blah. Okay two

things number one my district two, I had a Republican district. Secondly, like this, and this is a point that I think is important to point out.

When we take an oath, it is not to our district.

Like, you take an oath to the Constitution.

Okay, so if the 700,000 people that I represented

all called me on the phone and said do not vote to impeach or do not be on this committee.

Guess what? I don't care because my commitment my oath is not to them it's to the
