So I wanted to have a sort of a laser focus in this conversation about women in politics

and I was thinking back when I was talking to a producer about this about a young woman

that I knew back in the day who was stirring up the pot in a little place called Virginia.

She would go on to get herself elected to Congress in 2014 serving two terms representing

Virginia's 10th congressional district.

She was named as one of the top 10 most effective lawmakers in the 115th Congress by the

Center for Effective Lawmaking.

She now serves as a senior advisor with Baker Donaldson where she offers clients decades

of her policy experience in the legislative administrative and private sector areas.

She is none other than Congresswoman Barbara Comstock from the great state of Virginia

whom I've known a long long time.

So you referenced view pack which is the value in electing women pack.

It was founded I believe in the late 1990s 96 97 there and it was organized to increase

the number of Republican women in Congress.

The pack just recently came out condemning the actions of Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren

Bobbert of Colorado, Green of Georgia, referring to them as carnival barkers.

I happen to applaud that appellation.

I think it's appropriate.
