So before I went to break, I mentioned Supreme Court, which this week, they didn't disappoint. That's for sure.

They brought out passions on all sides with their rulings.

Let's start with the affirmative action case.

You had some very strong words on that case regarding the impact that it has beyond just the sheer idea of affirmative action.

The lack of historical appreciation of the journey of African Americans and people of color in this country, the reason the rationale behind carving out this space for those folks who have been historically economically politically and otherwise disenfranchised.

Share with us a little bit of your, your thinking on this decision that gutted and ostensibly eliminates affirmative action.

In the academic setting, I think sets up a limiting eliminating affirmative action in the business sector as well.

Yeah, so the Supreme Court has basically cemented the sort of systemic racism and disadvantage that we all know has been in existence since, you know, the nation was born in slavery and built on the backs of slaves.

It kind of goes without saying that if you have a population that you enslaved, that you deny all of the not only constitutional rights, but human rights.

You deny them the right to own anything property property or anything else.

You deny people the right to accumulate wealth. So therefore by extension, you deny them the opportunity to make their children's lives better moving forward.

And that wasn't so long ago, as I said, hell, everything was separate but equal until 1954 and we all know it wasn't equal at that point either.
