The Philadelphia Eagles have waived running back Adrian Killens, who they had just recently activated from the

practice squad on Saturday. He played eight snaps on Sunday against the 49ers

had one reception for two yards and was the poor soul that took an end around for a

negative 12- yard rush.

On Tuesday, the Speedy Killens passed through waivers unclaimed, meaning the Eagles could

potentially bring him back to the practice squad.

Maybe they already have by the time this is published.

Speaking of practice squad, the new rule this year is that teams can carry 16 players

on set practice squad.

I'm saying practice squad a lot.

And they can also protect four of those practice squad players from being poached each week.

The lucky contestants this week are tight-end Jason Kroom,
