But before we get to the specifics of the draft

and what's going to happen on Thursday and the deals

and in some cases, lack of deals and the surprises,

how would you describe Wednesday?

It was a whirlwind. There's no question about that.

If the NHL wants to stop all this from getting out,

they have to move the submission time closer to the actual draft.

And I realize that sometimes that's a challenge

because you've got to make sure that they've made all these picks that are legal

and you've got to make sure they've done, they followed the rules.

But if you'll remember in 2017, we knew all the Vegas picks.

I think the only one that was late was Chris Thorburn,

who was Vegas's pick from the Jets.

I think that was the last one to get out.
