0:05.6	And early on, as a young convert, not knowing anything about the Bible, there was a young couple in the church, took an interest in me, started taking me to Marvin Hicks debates. And you've heard that name.
0:22.6	Absolutely.
0:23.6	Probably before your time.
0:25.6	You're still a young man, but he was quite the debater in my day and very well known.
0:33.6	And so we would go to those debates and listen to him.
0:38.3	And I marveled at how that man knew the truth.
0:43.3	Of course, again, I knew nothing about the Bible, but I would listen to him in all.
0:49.3	And he understood the truth.
0:51.3	He understood it.
0:53.3	Yeah. And I'm telling you that I don't care who he was debating.
0:58.1	I don't care what denomination.
1:00.7	Any question they put to him, he had an answer.
1:04.2	And he didn't have to stop and think about it.
1:06.8	It was there.
1:08.1	And I would sit there and think, God, if he can know it like this, so can I.
1:17.7	Wow.
1:18.5	I can do this.
1:19.8	Somehow I can get it.
