So can you forgive someone for an offense? Can you be offended and still love the offender?

I've said this numerous times. It's surprising to me that more people are not offended by preaching.

Preaching is confrontational.

You put one man standing up in front of a few hundred people,

or more or less.

For hours a month, hours,

invariably he's gonna say something

that would go sideways with somebody the fact that a church

can stay united through that is that there is a collective group of people that are that that their

sincere desire is i want my ways to please the lord and preaching is a dynamic that makes that happen
